High season (April–September) brings the most consistent, powerful swell to HT's and Lance's Left. Shoulder season (October–March) is quieter, warmer and better value, with plenty of fun waves.

Fly into Padang (PDG), then cross to the Mentawai by ferry or fast boat (ferry days: Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun). A private car then brings you the final stretch to the villa. We arrange every leg for you.

Both. Villa Onu can be booked by the room, or taken in full for complete privacy, comfortable for eight guests, up to ten by arrangement.

Absolutely. Alongside the surf there's the pool, fishing, snorkelling, in-villa massage, a cinema room and a private chef, it's a genuine family and non-surfer destination too.

Three chef-prepared meals a day, daily housekeeping, dinghy access to the surf, a surf guide, and use of kayaks, snorkelling gear and the villa's facilities. Villa-only rates are available for self-sufficient crews.

Share your dates and we'll confirm availability and hold them. A 30% deposit secures bookings made 60+ days out, with the balance due 45 days before arrival. Bookings within 60 days are paid in full.

Yes, travel insurance is required for all guests, and we recommend a policy that covers surfing and remote travel.
